Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday beat Chelsea 3-1 at the Stamford Bridge to open an eight-point gap between themselves and the blues.
It was the first time Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be beating Chelsea at their home ground in 28 years. Chelsea Opened the scoring in the first half after Alvaro Morata headed in Victor Moses’s cross. However, with few seconds to go in the first half, Christian Eriksen equalized putting the ball past Willy Caballero.

Dele Alli scored a brace in the second half to secure victory for Tottenham. Defeat for the blues sees them stuck in fifth place with just 5 points above Arsenal in sixth place. This means Chelsea will only qualify for the Champions League. The win takes Tottenham Hotspurs up to 64 points and a place in the last Champions League spot.
However, Tottenham Hotspur gaffer, Mauricio Pochettino said his side deserved the victory with the way they came back stronger after falling behind. He said his side dominated play and created more chances than Conte’s men.
However, Antonio Conte has said he is not going to blame Victor Moses for Chelsea’s defeat to Tottenham. The Nigerian attacker created an assist for Morata’s goal and lost possession which led to Tottenham’s equalizer.
