Liverpool attacker, Mohammed Salah has apologized to Watford goalkeeper, Orestis Karnezis, after scoring four goals past him on Saturday.

Liverpool beat Watford 5-0 in their premier league fixture at Anfield. According to BT sport on Twitter, It tweeted that Mohammed Salah apologized to Watford goalkeeper after sticking four past him. The Egypt international is currently the league’s top scorer ahead of Harry Kane.

Mohammed Salah has now scored 36 goals in all competitions this season surpassing Fernando Torres. He has set a new record for highest goals scored in a debut season for Liverpool. Salah embraced the Watford keeper while apologizing to him.

He scored twice in each half before providing an assist for Roberto Firmino’s goal. However, Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp applauded Salah’s performance over the weekend.

Sol Campbell Backs Salah To Break Ronaldo’s Record

Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has backed Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah. He charged the Egyptian to break Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United goal record of 31 goals in 38 matches in England.

With seven games remaining in the premier league this season, Campbell believes the Egyptian player can surpass Ronaldo’s record if he gets more penalties. Mohammed Salah’s performance in the 5-0 drubbing of Watford takes his tally to 28 goals in the premier league and four clear of injured Harry Kane.
