Manchester City Pull Out Of Race To Sign Arsenal Forward
Manchester City have finally dropped their pursuit of Arsenal winger, Alexis Sanchez according to Goal. This outcome leaves Manchester United with a clear run at wrapping up a deal for the player this week. Manchester City made it clear that they would walk away from the deal if the financial commitments isn’t in their favor.
The Old trafford club are willing to pay more money in both wages and extra fees. This is a dramatic turn around as City had agreed terms with Sanchez’s agent ahead of transfer this month. Pep Guardiola is believed to be on board with the decision to no longer pursue Sanchez, despite making the forward their main target since last Summer.
However, Chelsea have joined in the chase for the United bound player with a late bid. United have revealed that Alexis Sanchez will wear the number 7 which has been vacant.
