Manchester City defeat Bristol City 2-1 in the first leg of their Carabao Cup Semi final clash on Tuesday night at the Etihad.
Bristol City who are in fine form beat Manchester United in the quarter Final. The championship side were seeking to cause another major upset.
The visitors shocked city fans when they went ahead just before the break after Bobby Reid slotted a penalty past Claudio Bravo. Manchester City responded with a quick equalizer minutes into the second half through Kevin De Bruyne. Sergio Aguero scored a late winner in the dying minutes of the game. The reverse fixture will be played January 23 at Ashton Gate. However, Chelsea will take on Arsenal in the first leg encounter of the second semi final match tonight at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City are super confident of completing a move for Arsenal Forward, Alexis Sanchez this January.The Chilean
international almost made the switch to the Etihad Stadium last summer. The deal didn’t pull through due to Arsenal’s inability
to replace the Chilean last summer. Alexis Sanchez current deal expires at the end of the season and Arsene Wenger could seal
