Argentina and Barcelona Captain Lionel Messi has revealed what he believes is the major weakness of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. The Argentine star is stating this ahead of the last group game in the 2018 world cup in Russia next year.

Lionel Messi also describes the Nigerian team as being inconsistent and poor when approaching games.The Ballon d or winner has scored twice against Nigeria in the previous world cup in Brazil 2014. The Super Eagles will be up against Nigeria, Croatia, and Iceland at next years Mundial.In a recent interview with FIFA, the Argentine superstar was asked to rate the strength and problems of the team who they face in their last group game next year.

He said that the Eagles are inconsistent that one day they score four goals and give lots of space. It seems easy to beat the super eagles. He further hinted that the Croatian side gives room to play but they have fantastic players. He mentioned fellow Barcelona teammate Ivan Rakitic, Luka Modric, Mario Mandzukic and Ivan Perisic. However, he noted that Iceland team are a tough and well-organized team and will be no pushover in the group.

He is also confident that his side despite the poor form in the qualifiers can beat Nigeria. Lionel Messi seems to know how to beat the super eagles and how we play. The Argentines so far have a hundred percent record against Nigeria in previous world cups.
